New Tool Will Assist CEO's To Improve Competitiveness An international productivity association and a Florida-based university have joined forces to provide corporations with data that will make them more competitive and prosperous. Robert Jacobson, chairman of the Association of Productivity Specialists, and Dr. Sharon Caballero, president of IMPAC University, made the announcement today. APS founded in 1976, trains and certifies productivity specialists who implement actions which help make companies more profitable. APS recently conducted a training conference in Amsterdam, assisting representatives of client organizations who are doing projects with APS corporate members. The Association is also the publisher of an international newsletter for it’s members, The APS Review. IMPAC University of Punta Gorda, FL, founded in 1998, provides business education and training to students in more than 60 countries. The university offers accredited Master's degree programs and the services of its executive training arm, Corporate Training Solutions. The APS - IMPAC University initiative in economic and strategic thinking will begin with quarterly surveys of CEO's on topics including regional socio-economic factors and forces that enhance or inhibit productivity. A database of material from these surveys will be shared with CEO's who are APS members or who are working with IMPAC University.
