Three Join APS Board As Chairman Calls For Increased Vigor

The APS Board of Directors, in a move to strengthen its structure and build on recent advances in services, has added three Productivity Improvement Corporate members to its ranks.

Representing the Pac Rim will be May Mey Lee; Europe, Patrick Maes; and North America, William Forster.

Lee, a lawyer, is services manager for a productivity improvement company in Asia. A veteran of the business, she is also certified as a Project Director by APS.

Maes, a native of Belgium, was a jazz dancer before embarking on a business career. He is CEO for a productivity improvement company in Europe and has worked in the productivity improvement business for more than 20 years. He studied history and sociology, as well as languages including Dutch, English, French and German.

Forster has been a Staff Engineer since 1982. His first project was with an information services corporation. Forster’s experience includes work with more than 20 industries in more than 200 cities.

The join current board members Robert A. Jacobson, Chairman; Donna Matura, Secretary; Heather Rumbold, Treasurer; and Donna Hartle, Esquire, ex-officio board member for legal matters.

"APS has become much more assertive as the authoritative voice in productivity issues over the last two years, and this is a move to increase our vigor and enthusiasm," Jacobson said.

APS has embarked on a massive Coordinator Training Program, holding sessions last year in London and this year in Connecticut.
